Ballon d’or; the three favourites
Andres Iniesta, Christiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi?
Who is going to be the winner?
UEFA has published a list of the three players who will be the best players in Europe for this season 2011 -2012. But there is no surprises to see them in the final list. After having had an unbelievable season, the choice will not be easy in the 30th of August in Monaco.

Iniesta is actually one of the best soccer players of the world. His way to touch and conserve a ball with facility makes him so special. Added to his influence, vision to organise a game; Iniesta is a genius. It’s true that he doesn't get enough recognition being in the same club side as Messi. But the difference between them is that Iniesta is persistent with Barcelona and with his national team Spain. And among the three nominates, he’s the most distinguished with honours list and a great convincing presence and persistence since 2008 where he does not disappoint fans. Winner of the recent Euro with Spain and being the best player of a tournament, this award can have an influence in Monaco. If it’s not a case we can say that Soccer is thankless.

Messi is the best soccer player in the world. After winning the Ballon d’or three times consecutively, 2009-2010-2011, he joins Michel Platini the actual president of the UEFA. So he will try to enter in the legend. But sometimes victims of critics with his national team Argentina, where he is inefficient, and does make people dreaming like with Barcelona. His short, strong legs allow him to excel in short bursts of acceleration and his quick feet allow him to keep control of the ball when dribbling at speed, it’s a result of an exceptional season in scoring 73 goals in all competitions, this record can make him a favourite for a Ballon d’or.

The 2008 Ballon d’or winner with his previous club Manchester United, Ronaldo won all the competitions with his club. Facing a challenge, he came in Madrid in June 2009, for the season 2010; he scores 26 goals in 29 matches, then 50 goals in 51 matches with Real Madrid in 2010, sudden he beats a club record. But in scoring 46 goals in La Liga the next season, he’s beaten by Messi. The Portuguese is a main reason of the La liga title given to Real Madrid, he has led his country to the semi final of the Euro 2012, even if they lose in the penalties against Spain, he did not disappoint all the viewers. His goal scored against Barcelona in giving his club a victory can be an advantage for this award.
